What we do
The Shin Ranch is a family owned and operated horse ranch by Barry Shin who has an immense passion for pairing amazing families with excellent ranch versatile horses of their dreams. Our ranch horses are used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. We try and cover anything the horse might see in a busy family and barn setting.

Kid tested and mother approved is the best way to describe our horses. Super gentle and extremely user friendly to ride. Most of our horse are safe enough to teach young children and novice adults how to ride. We have had kids as young as five ride them, and adults in their 80's have trail ridden them! Every horse in our ranch is working through our rigorous and proven desensitizing program where we expose them to tarps, flags, atv’s, on the road in traffic, water, loading & unloading, arena and round pen work, bareback, clippers, cross ties, dogs, farm animals and much more. We try and cover anything the horse might see in a busy family and barn setting.
