Barron is a favorite with the kids. He is safe as they come and loves to go and do new things. Barron has been worked extensively on the ranch but that’s just the start. He was started on the head side and shows real promise and won’t get outrun. We don’t have access to cattle to rope right now because they are all calving right now but we played around on the hot heels and he loved it! Barron is also lightly started on the barrels. He has been hauled to several arenas and isn’t spooky or buddy sour. He hauls great and stands tied quietly. As if that wasn’t enough, he also LOVES to jump! The kids had been jumping logs in the pasture but decided to set up a real jump in the arena and he is a natural! There isn’t much this horse couldn’t do. Barron is super safe even after sitting for months at a time. Barron has been ridden on the roads, in town, through water, over bridges, nothing phases him. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Update: He is being ridden by youth and trained further on the head side.
