Nick is tall and handsome typical Friesian with incredibly smooth gaits and is uncomplicated to ride. He will easily step into his canter from a walk or a standstill, and gets his leads correct every time. He will jog and lope slowly and smoothly, or will step up and lengthen his stride and collect if asked. He works beautifully off of your seat and leg. He is safe enough to teach young children and novice adults how to ride. He is absolutely gorgeous in person and loves to work under saddle. He stands like a gentleman in cross ties. He will cross bridges and water without hesitation. He stands to be mounted from either side. He is safe with farm equipment and farm animals, as well as bicycles, dogs, traffic etc. He has been used a flag horse in parades and is gun-safe, and has even worked cattle!
